All manufacturers have to file a report with FCC about their new technology, whenever they want to release new or updated devices. According to the report filed by Roku, company is getting ready to launch new models of streaming devices with updated software.
The company reveals that three models are currently in development and these models are 4620X, 4630X and 4640X. May be these three models will be the upgraded version of Roku2, Roku3 and Roku4 respectively. Last year company has upgraded its Roku2 and Roku3 devices and launched Roku4 with 4K technology for the first time. Roku have not revealed details about new models, so we can’t say whether Roku 4 supports HDR or not.

Both 4630X and 4640X have of Ethernet and micro SD features. All of the above features of 4640X are currently available on Roku4. The company is getting ready to launch upgraded versions of Roku 2 and Roku3 as well. USB ports would be removed from Roku 2 and Roku 3 updated versions. As Roku doesn’t comment about the report so we are not able to tell the release date more features of these new models. These models will have faster hardware then previous models. Hopefully these models will come without fan and USB ports will be replacing to Ethernet. Steps to setup Roku devices:
Connect your Roku player: Connect the Roku player to the internet. Connect Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the back side of Roku 4. Connect HDMI cable to the HDMI port of the player, and connect other end to the HDMI port of TV. Connect power adapter into the Roku player and switch on the power button. Insert batteries to Roku remote.
On screen setup: pair your Roku remote with the player. Select language. Connect to Wi-Fi network. Enter the password of your Wi-Fi network and tap connect. After network connection Roku player will look for software update, if any update is found click ok button on the remote. The software will download and installed automatically. Roku player will restart after the installation process is complete.
Online account setup: Go to Roku com link on your pc or mobile and enter the code provided with the Roku device.
